Innovation Essential to Business

Irrigation Services Ltd participates in research and development work to ensure theb est technology available is used in irrigation development.

The company has contributed to research through the Sustainable Farming Fund which is evaluating the performance of sprinkler frost protection systems in New Zealand.  Irrigation Services Ltd has joined with four wine companies in Hawke's Bay to match the Government funding for the research.  The trial site is at Sileni Wine Estate south of Hastings.

The trial aims to provide better information on the design and use of frost protection systems, and the most economic systems in terms of cost and water usage.
